Amherst, MA, now has a cemetery site where the location of family plots can be mapped.

1973 cemetery survey showed the location of the Newell family plots in the West Cemetery. The survey
is located in the Special Collections, Jones Library, Amherst. MA
During a visit to the cemetery, it was found that most of the stones in the area of the Newell plots were
missing.
