Abigail Pease who died two days after Asa is
the step-mother of Asa's daughter-in-law, Mary Louisa Pease Newell. Both deaths were reported by Mary Louisa's husband, Caleb
Wheaton Newell.
Asa Newell's occupation at the age of 80 was "hatter". His parents are noted as Ebenezer and Elizabeth Newll of
Dedham, Massachusetts.
